Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) 

Role Overview:

The Technology Business Development Executive has responsibility for the Marketing, Sales, and Growth of all our tech-related brands, products, services, platforms, and solutions. 


As a TECH-BDE, you will market and sell our packaged solutions as well as that of our partners whilst also extracting value through the provision of training services. 


You will work as part of the Business Development Team to:

  1. Ensure ongoing marketing &  awareness for our solutions to prospective clients using a combination of traditional and new media strategies, techniques, and activities.
  2. Ensure the continuous sale, distribution, provisioning and adoption of our solutions to their respective market(s) to achieve revenue targets. 
  3. Engage in strategic business development activities including but not limited to curation of ideas, submitting bespoke proposals, tenders, and curating partnerships.

Overall, the TECH-BDE has an in-depth knowledge on our bouquet of solutions, and actively seeks ways to sell, upsell, and cross-sell.

Duties/Functions:

  1. Create pitches, presentations, and attend meetings. 
  2. Determine client's business needs, gathers and refines specifications and requirements.
  3. Provides superior customer service, first-hand technical support and assistance .
  4. Plans and executes marketing and awareness activities to generate leads.
  5. Generate Sales, upsell, and cross-sell solutions to prospective, new, and existing customers. 
  6. Prepares proposals, tenders, and other related documents as may be required related to business development needs.
  7. Prepare, review and vet training syllabus, as well as facilitate training & events.
  8. Manage multiple platforms and data including but not limited to platform users, products, orders, and accounts.
  9. Implement digital marketing campaigns including but not limited to SMM, SEO, PPC Campaigns, Lead Generation Campaigns, Email Marketing Campaigns, among others, and oversee the management of social media accounts, blogs, and knowledge bases.
  10. Any other duty that may be required.

Experience Requirements:

  1. Experience working in Marketing, Sales, or Business Development related roles.
  2. Versatile IT and Tech experience working with a variety of computer systems, IT tools, software, and solutions.
  3. Understanding of sales strategies, market trends, target market, techniques etc.
  4. Experience meeting sales targets, negotiation, and assertion skills when dealing with clients.
  5. Extensive technical knowledge of how technology can be used to enhance business operations.
  6. Aggressive persuasion, resilience, and closing skills.
  7. Strong presentation, organisational, prioritisation, time, and task management skills. 
  8. Experience delivering training & events (live and virtual).
  9. Ability to train others to use tech efficiently.
  10. Work well under pressure, and with little to no supervision whilst achieving targets.

Terms:

  1. Minimum of 18 months contract.
  2. Subject to 3 months probationary evaluation on the job at minimum salary band.
  3. 3 months notice before resignation or termination. 
  4. Refund of 3 months salary in breach of 1,2,3 above. 
  5. Compulsory attendance of induction, quarterly scheduled training, and organisation’s yearly retreat.
  6. Self-paced learning of how to use work and productivity tools within the probation period. 
  7. Provision of Police report or background check.
  8. Provision of signed guarantor or reference from the previous place of work.
  9. Medical report for frequent sick leave beyond approved limits.
  10. Abide by all organisation policies including but not limited to Employee Policy, Information Protection Policy, ATIT.
